![]() ![]() Staff achieved a high live release rate by implementing a variety of strategies, including partnerships with two local pet stores to host adoption events monthly, social media posts focusing on found pets, a barn cat program, a kitten foster program, and providing low-cost resources to families in hopes of keeping pets out of the shelter. The shelter tracks and evaluates the live release rate for dogs and cats within its facility, and it is continuously looking for ways to improve this metric and get animals into good homes.
